Dawnrise privacy policy

Effective since 6 October 2026.

1. Controller

2. Principle

The app runs entirely on your device. It has no account, no server, no ads, no analytics or tracking tool. The developer receives none of your data.

3. Health data read

With your permission, type by type, the app reads from Apple Health: your sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, wrist temperature, resting heart rate, VO2 max, workouts, active energy, exercise minutes, steps, time in daylight and noted state of mind. Only if you turn on the « Cycle » feature: your period days. It never writes to Apple Health. You can withdraw access at any time in Settings › Health › Data Access.

4. Data created by the app

Calculated nights, scores, recoveries, journal notes, summaries and settings are stored on your iPhone, in the app's protected space shared with its widgets. The other measures (activity, fitness, daylight, mood, cycle) are read again from Health each time and not kept. A summary of the last night is sent directly to your paired Apple Watch, without any server; the cycle never appears there. Optional notifications are created on the iPhone, without any score. The CSV export is only created when you ask for it, and you choose where to send it.

5. Backups

As for any app, this data may be part of your iPhone backups (iCloud or computer), managed by Apple according to your settings. The app syncs nothing itself.

6. Purchases

Subscriptions and the full version are handled by Apple. The app checks on the device that the purchase is valid; the developer receives neither your name nor your payment details.

7. Sharing

No data is sold, shared or used for advertising or research.

8. Deletion

Settings › Delete my data erases everything the app stored, without touching Apple Health. Deleting the app also erases this data.

9. Your rights (Swiss FADP, GDPR)

As the developer holds no data about you, there is nothing to send you or correct; you keep full control from your device. For any question: contact@dawnlab.ch.

10. Children

The app is not specifically aimed at children and collects no data.

11. This website

This website uses no cookies, no audience measurement, no external font or script. The host (Netlify, United States) may keep technical connection logs for security. The domain and email stay with Infomaniak (Switzerland).

Any change will be published on this page with its date.
