FitAdapt privacy policy

1. Controller

2. Principle

The app runs on your iPhone and Apple Watch. It has no account, no server, no ads and no analytics or tracking tools. The developer receives none of your data.

3. What you enter

Your profile (sex, height, weight, level, training days and duration), your health constraints (conditions, movements to avoid, pain level), your goals, muscle areas, sessions and sets, measurements and custom exercises. This information is only used to build and adapt your program, on your device.

4. Health data read

With your permission, type by type, the app reads your weight, height, waist circumference, date of birth, sex, heart rate and resting heart rate from Apple Health, to prefill your profile and show your progress. You can revoke access at any time in Settings › Health › Data Access.

5. Health data written

With your permission, your workouts (strength training, duration) and the weight and waist measurements you enter are saved to Apple Health. On Apple Watch, the workout is saved with your heart rate and active energy. They stay under your control there.

6. Calendar

Off by default. If you turn it on, the app creates a “FitAdapt” calendar on your iPhone and keeps your sessions up to date in it. It neither reads nor changes any other event. Turning the option off removes these events.

7. Notifications

Session reminders, end of rest, next-day check-in and measurement reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device.

8. Storage and Apple Watch

Your data is stored on your iPhone, in the app's protected container. iPhone and Apple Watch exchange data directly (this week's plan, completed sets), without any server. The app does not use iCloud.

9. Backups

As with any app, this data may be included in your iPhone backups (iCloud or computer), managed by Apple according to your settings.

10. Purchases

Any purchases are handled by Apple. The app checks on the device that a purchase is valid; the developer receives neither your name nor your payment details.

11. Sharing

An export of your data (JSON file) is only created when you ask for it, and you choose where to send it. No data is sold, shared or used for advertising or research.

12. Deletion

Profile › Delete all my data erases everything the app has stored on the device; deleting the app has the same effect. Your data in Health is managed in the Health app.

13. Your rights (Swiss FADP, GDPR)

Since the developer holds no data about you, there is nothing to provide or correct; you keep full control from your devices. Questions: contact@dawnlab.ch.

14. Age

The app is intended for adults and collects no data.

15. This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no external fonts or scripts. The host (Netlify, United States) may keep technical connection logs for security. Domain and email are hosted by Infomaniak (Switzerland).

Any change will be published on this page with its date.
